A U.S. Army helicopter used in historic combat may soon get a new coat of paint and a new home at the Southwest Georgia Welcome Center in Bainbridge.

Dr. Charles T. Stafford, a local doctor specializing in primary care for women and gynecology, wants to strengthen the local economy if he is elected to a Decatur County Board of Commissioners seat in November.
